PANT LEGAL collects data each time this website is accessed and stores it as "server log files". Data collected includes:
The data collected is used only for statistical purposes and to optimize our website. However, PANT LEGAL reserves the right to, at any time, check the server log files should concrete evidence point to unlawful use.
PANT LEGAL collects, uses and transfers your personal data only if this is permitted by data protection laws or if you consent to the collection of such data.
Personal data means all information that is used to identify you as a person and which can be traced back to you - such as your name, e-mail address and telephone number.
If you contact us through the offered contact options, your details will be stored so that they can be used to process and answer your request. This data will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent.
Art. 6 I lit. a EU GDPR acts as PANT LEGAL’s legal basis for processing operations for which we obtain consent for a specific processing purpose. If the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, as is the case, for example, with processing operations necessary for the delivery of goods or the provision of other services or consideration, the legal basis is Art. 6 I lit. b EU GDPR. This also applies to processing operations that are necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures, for example in cases of enquiries about our products or services. If PANT LEGAL is subject to a legal obligation which requires the processing of personal data, for example to fulfil tax obligations, the legal basis is Art. 6 I lit. c EU GDPR. In rare cases, the processing of personal data may become necessary to protect an interest which is essential for the life of the data subject or another natural person. This would be the case if, for example, a visitor were injured in our office and his name, age, health insurance data or other vital information had to be passed on to a doctor, hospital or other third parties. The legal basis for such processing would then be Art. 6 I lit. d EU GDPR. Ultimately, the legal basis for processing operations could be Art. 6 I lit. f EU GDPR. If the processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of PANT LEGAL or a third party, and that legitimate interest is not outweighed by the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject, the legal basis will be Art. 6 (1) f EU GDPR. In particular, we are permitted to carry out such processing operations because they have been specifically mentioned by European legislators. The legislators have taken the view that a legitimate interest could be assumed if the data subject is a client of the controller (recital 47, second sentence, EU GDPR).
The criterion for the duration of the storage of personal data is the respective legal retention period. After the expiry of this period, the corresponding data will be routinely deleted, provided that it is no longer necessary for the fulfilment or initiation of the contract.
